Senior Project Manager(s)

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible to:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business requirements, in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Work with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other project stakeholders.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools (e.g. MS Project, SmartSheet)
  • Create and distribute status reports from the project team, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders effectively, in a clear and timely fashion.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Estimate the resources and associated budget needed to achieve project goals.
  • Be familiar with change requests and their application.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants, and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the project cycle.
  • Direct and manage project development from start to finish.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, and presentations.
  • Manage changes in project scope proactively, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
  • Set goals and deliver results in a client-focused manner.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors; influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.​


Required:

  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience as a project manager with proven experience on medium- and large-scale projects; preference given to those with experience managing IT projects.
  • Undergraduate degree such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Well-developed written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Detailed yet creative manner of work.
  • Proven success supporting and working closely with clients and team members.
  • Previous consulting experience.
  • Strong client references from past work.


The following assets, would be considered favourably:

  • Previous experience in the public sector (federal/ provincial / municipal).
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification/experience
  • Change Management certification/experience (e.g. PROSCI).

Senior Change Manager

The Senior Change Manager will be responsible to:

  • Define and develop the overall strategy, approach, implementation plan, and sustainment of change management activities including the management of these activities based on industry best practice.
  • Plan, organize and lead organizational change management activities using a standardized methodology to ensure identified goals are achieved.
  • Work with business / project leaders to assess and analyze current state vs. future state and readiness of employees to adopt the change as input for the change plan.
  • Manage client and key stakeholders to help build and sustain long-term relationships with clients at a senior level.
  • Execute client service plans on complex engagements while working closely with Partners.
  • Facilitate client meetings and workshops to support change management efforts and build buy-in of proposed organization changes.
  • Create a learning environment through leadership and provide active coaching and mentoring to more junior team members to help them achieve their highest potential.
  • Have experience with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership.


Required:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a change management role(s) with proven experience on medium- and large-scale projects; preference given to those with experience managing change for IT projects.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Well-developed written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Detailed yet creative manner of work.
  • Proven success supporting and working closely with clients and team members.
  • Previous consulting experience in public sector (federal, provincial, and/or municipal).

Intermediate/Senior Business Analyst

The Intermediate/Senior Business Analyst will be responsible to:

  • Work closely with client business representatives and experts to document business requirements and business processes.
  • Facilitate establishing business goals, objectives, and priorities.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
  • Facilitate client management and subject matter experts through workshops and individual meetings.
  • Define business processes and workflow models.
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and translate high-level information into the details.
  • Identify issues and propose resolutions, escalating to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Have an understanding of change management practices; experience in applying change management within a project environment would be considered an asset. 


Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a business analyst, capturing business needs and requirements for business initiatives and implementation projects, preference given to those with experience in the IT projects.
  • Experience with business modeling techniques and tools.
  • Comfort with facilitating clients through workshops and gathering requirements, involving junior- to senior-level staff.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with proven communication, listening, and team building skills.
  • Team skills and experience working in a team environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills, and is self-directed.
  • Experience with risk management; identifying issues and escalating as appropriate.
  • Client-focused with emphasis on delivering quality services to customers;.
  • Undergraduate degree such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science; or has the equivalent training and experience.



The following assets, would be considered favourably:

  • Lean Six Sigma certification and/or experience
  • Change Management experience (e.g. familiarity with PROSCI)
  • Business Analysis Certification (CBAP or CCBA)
  • Previous consulting experience in the public sector (federal/ provincial / municipal)
